We at Modica Blinds consider Plantation Shutters to be our speciality. With the vast selection of colours for you to choose from and the many different styles, we can make any dull window, from Victorian Sash to modern UPVC, come to life and make a spectacular feature in your home.

Styles
Full Height - a shutter that covers full height of the window, this can also be split with a divider rail to allow top and bottom louver sections to be operated independantly.

Tier on Tier - a Full Height shutter that gives you more control by having a door panel situated above another door panel.

Cafe Style - Covers only the bottom part of the window, used primarily for privacy rather than light control.

Solid Panel - An alternative to Plantation Shutters. This style blocks out more light than louvered panels making them ideal for bedrooms but suitable for any room.

Tracked Shutters - Suspended from a track system, these shutters are available in Bi-fold (where panels can be folded back) and By-pass (where panels slide behind each other).

Special Shapes - Arches, circles, angles, octagons, hexagons and ovals can be catered for. These are only available in hard wood options.

Colours
Plantation Shutters come in a variety of whites and creams and a vast selection of wood stains.
We can also colour match your shutters for you. By giving us a sample of the colour you want or the batch code of a recognised brand of paint, we can have your shutters beautifully crafted to suit your decor.

Benefits
As well as the obvious features of light control and privacy, Plantation Shutters also provide extra insulation and additional security.

Installation
A lot of care goes in to our surveys and installations to make sure you get the best possible finish.
Each installation is different from the last so it is hard to give an exact time on how long the install will take, but we will give you a rough guide on the survey.
